Digital Community Health Hubs drop–ins
Where: In Brooksbank Community Centre and other community venues throughout Dundee – if folks get in touch with us, we can arrange a suitable venue.
When: Tuesdays 09.00-17.00, Wednesdays 09.00-17.00 and Thursdays 09.00-12.30
How: We can provide a device, Wi-Fi and a private, COVID compliant space or the patient can bring their own device with them if preferred.
We are offering support with:
Accessing, completing and uploading questionnaires for healthcare professionals
Online prescriptions
Blue Badge applications
NHS Scotland COVID Status
Video Consultation appointments with primary or secondary care services
Healthcare apps
Help to access digital resources
Benefits applications including foodbank applications, pension applications and Universal Credit updates
To complement our drop-in sessions we are running a series of taster sessions throughout February, the first of these took place on 1st February.
Where: At DVVA Community Digital Health Hub located in Brooksbank Centre
When : Every Tuesday in February 10.00am -12.00
Bring your own device or we can provide one for you.

Virtual Connection: Making & Receiving Video Calls.
Video Consultation Medical Appointments
Session Two (8 February)
Email : Downloading and uploading forms
Session Three (15 February)
Online shopping: Ordering repeat prescriptions online and using apps
Session Four (22 February)
Internet safety: How to trust health information online.
There are plans to repeat these in April.
GP practices are not involved in the vaccinating of patients with their COVID vaccine. This is being carried out in central clinics.
